Dwan @ Dusk

"If you want to see a monument, just look around Jamshedpur!!!"
And no....Im not talking abt my college which has been there for almost sixty years now.
What I am talking abt is something which has been there for eternity....Tata Steel!!!
After a week into the course, the influence of the organization is pretty evident on the faculty as well as the other members of the staff. From organizational examples to labour policies, everything seems to have happened only in Tata Steel....it seems as if they have been oblivious of the other companies and industries mushrooming on the other side of the country!!!
But that again is not what I am here to write about...its about something more intriguing and interesting.
Let me relate a story to you....
It happened so that after landing here in jampot, i felt the urge to explore the city "...now I know its just a small town though"....so being a true techie, i checked wiki for help and found about a beautiful park known as the jubilee park situated right next to the institute. I caught on a few frustrated souls like mine and decided to give a visit there. Before leaving, I just happened to have a chat with the guard at the gate as to what is there to look for.....laser show was his reply...
There we were, sitting in an open audi wondering what crime I had committed to be put thru this torture when suddenly it was all red in one part of the sky....it seemed as if it was dawn, late in the evening!!! I was awed to look at the sky and its beauty.....it was all shaded red as if Mr Hussian had painted Miss Nene out there.....but surprisingly the other audience was not concerned about this and were busy with the show!!!
Back in college i happened to talk to the same guard and asked him about the "phenomenon"....are sir woh to tisco hai....
Tisco ???? it took me a few seconds to realize he was referring to Tata Steel.....and the dawn i had observed was the ingot going into the furnace....
Now after a week into the course, the dawn has become a regular phenomenon....but it still awes me and Im sure will go on to do for the next two years here!!!

PS: The introductory line was something mentioned about Tata Steel during the laser show !!!
